NIFF New Generation

European works by young people between the ages of 18 and 30 are eligible for this section. All team leaders must be within this age range.

New Generation Section Dynamics

​

 

All projects may submit their works until May 15, 2024, following the requirements established in the rules. On June 1, 2024, the short films selected as candidates will be published on the festival website. Five finalist short films will be selected from among the short films nominated. Four of these short films will be selected by the jury. The fifth will be selected by popular vote. The five short films selected as finalists will be published during the first week of August. A representative from each project will be invited to NIFF to present their short film in person and attend other activities.

Popular Voting for New Generation

The short films selected as candidates will be published on June 1st on our Instagram account @navarrafestival. There will be one post for each short film. To vote, each person must "Like" their favorite short film and follow the festival account @navarrafestival. If the person who "likes" does not follow the festival account, the vote will be invalid.

1 like on the post of their favorite short film + follow the account = 1 vote.

The popular voting period closes on June 30th at 11:59 PM. The film with the most votes will be the winner and will receive a direct pass as a finalist.
