Film Director

Filmmaker, screenwriter, and director of photography from Barcelona, ​​Spain. After earning his bachelor's degree in biology, he decided to pursue his artistic vision and began studying photojournalism and documentary photography. In 2020, he was selected by ESCAC for its Master's in Filmmaking. There, he wrote and directed his first short films: "Solo fue un rato" (It Was Only a While) and "La roca salvatge" (The Wild Rock) (in post-production).

Amparo lives in an old abandoned haberdashery in the center of Madrid with the only company of Carmela, a plastic bag that she considers her daughter.

Film Director

As an animated film director, he won a Goya Award for 'El Cid, the Legend' (2004), a Creative Producer Award for 'Nocturna, a Magical Adventure' (2008), and was nominated for 'Donkey Xote' (2007), his second feature film as a director.

He is currently an Associate Producer on Santi Trullenque's feature film 'El Frío que quema' (2021), and is preparing what will be his fifth feature film as director and screenwriter, 'Unusual Cowboys', whose script was a finalist (Top 5) in the drama category at Final Draft's prestigious Big Break 2020 festival.


Actualmente es Productor Asociado en el largometraje ‘El Frío que quema’ (2021) de Santi Trullenque, y prepara el que será su quinto largometraje como director y guionista ‘Unusual Cowboys’, cuyo guión ha quedado finalista (Top 5) en la categoría de drama del prestigioso festival Big Break 2020 de Final Draft.

Néstor López, director and producer, is CEO of Filmakers Monkeys. He has directed campaigns for brands such as Netflix and Sony, the documentary "Semillas de Kivu" (Abycine-Amnesty International Award 2021), and several short films selected at more than 100 festivals. Pedro Blanco Uribe was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where he began his career at an early age producing television commercials. He is self-taught, learning on the job and watching a lot of movies. His first short film script won a national competition, and thanks to that opportunity, he launched his career as a director. He has experience in audiovisual media gained through his participation as a producer, screenwriter, editor, and director in various films, TV commercials, and television productions.
Pedro Blanco Uribe has a comprehensive vision of the filmmaking process that leads him to develop projects of undeniable artistic and promotional value.

Inga Kempe (Söråker, Sweden, 1992) is a screenwriter, director, and editor. After studying screenwriting, animation, and physical theater, she earned a degree in film directing in Prague (2015). She directed the short film "Sophie" (2015), and her short film "Graze" won Best Nordic Short Film at UEFF 2020. "Yellow Cross My Heart" is her third short film as a director.

Elina Sahlin (Stöde, Sweden, 1987) is a screenwriter and director. The story of "Yellow Cross My Heart" was published as a short story before being turned into a short film and is based on her childhood as a farmer's daughter in a small Swedish village. It is her first short film as a director.

Doğuş Özokutan (Nicosia, Cyprus, 26/10/1984) has a degree in Visual Arts. Her first short film, "Random Attempts" (2015), was selected at festivals around the world and nominated for Best Short Film at the 2016 Oscar Short Shorts & Asia qualifying festival. Her second short film, "Kısmet" (2018), was screened in 39 countries and was nominated for several audience awards, including at the Leeds International Film Festival, a BAFTA qualifying festival. Her animated documentary short "Çoban (Shepherd)" (2020) won the Remi Award at Worldfest Houston. "The Delivery" (2020) is her fourth short film as a director.

His short film "Tuck Me In" (2014) is an online hit, with over 15 million views. At festivals, he has garnered more than 30 awards and 250 selections. The rights to his short films "El Abogado" (2016) and "Deep Down" (2019) were acquired by HBO USA.

Fernando Souza (he/her) studied film and has a master's degree in screenwriting. He worked for Magnolia TV, developing, writing, and selling some of Spain's biggest programs. He has made videos for fashion brands, communications agencies, GoPro, and has been featured on VICE. The Floating World is his first documentary.

 

Pablo Curto (he/her) works as a photographer and director. In 2013, he left his job as an industrial engineer to dedicate himself to imagery.
Having worked primarily in fashion and music, The Floating World is his first foray into documentary filmmaking.

Her latest project Xiao Xian (2019), nominated for the 2020 Goya Awards, has achieved a record 10 nominations at the Fugaz Awards and 5 awards. To date, Isabel Sáez has always directed documentary films from a feminist perspective. Her first short film, "En Nigún Sitio Como En Casa" (2010), is an intimate portrait of the relationship between the author, her father, and the development of analog photography. In 2018, she co-directed "Zauriak: Madness, Body, and Feminisms," a feature-length documentary in which she interviews various women, lesbians, and trans people about their first-hand experiences with the psychiatric institution and their diagnosis.

Simon Filliot

Film Director

Born in Reims in 1987, Simon trained in literature, then film, before joining the Femis image department in 2008. He chose to make his graduation film in stop-motion; La Ravaudeuse received the praise of the jury, as well as more than 60 festival selections and five awards. After school, he worked as a cinematographer and assistant cameraman, always with a penchant for stop-motion films.
