FORUM THEATER WITH CHIARA DIGRANDI

An active reflection on gender-based violence.

In this workshop, we will explore different processes for creating Forum Theater and then perform them in a session open to the public. Among those registered (registration form below), 12 people will be selected to participate in the workshop. The rest, the public, will have the option to participate and enjoy the forum by becoming spectators in the open-to-the-public exhibition, which will take place on Saturday, September 5, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.

The pieces to be shown are created collectively and horizontally, highlighting the different points of view and experiences of the participants.

Forum Theater represents a problem or conflict affecting a community. In this case, the theme of gender-based violence will be addressed.

During the open session, the audience will have the opportunity to express their ideas and experiences regarding the conflict and then formulate proposals to transform it. Spectators will be given the opportunity to become spectators, taking on the roles of the play's characters and acting out their proposals for change. Theater transforms spectators into actors and citizens into critical artists with the power to transform their reality.
